Yes, very. I love my job. I’m in a wonderful relationship. My family and friends are all in good health, and I’m also in good health. It’s one of the few times in my life everything has been so great. The only bad part is that all the happy scares the shit out of me at times. 👀

100% yes for the first time in my career.

Why? I’m paid well, I have a great manager, I get to make cool shit on the regular, I have great benefits and unlimited vacation, and I work 40 hours a week and never weekends.

I know it won’t last forever, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. Question about remote job negotiations

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?
