Do you feel like you always have to take shifts when you are asked to? My boss told me someone needed to change their schedule last minute so she asked if I could stay a half hour late. I said yes partly because I felt like I had to even though today is my husband's birthday. It wasn't a big deal this time , but have you had times it was a big inconvenience?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.
