Elina will have to spell her name every time.
Elena is lovely.
If you line the sound of Elina just go with Lena.
Eh-lay-na
Eh-leh-na
Really depends on where you come from!
Both are lovely! So really what your gut tells you 👍♥️
I guess Elena sounds more Spanish (i have a Spanish friend named Elena) and Elina sounds Nordic inspired? I don’t know. Whatever you fits your family!
Elena makes more sense to me as someone with a spanish speaking background and i think it's gorgeous!
I haven't encountered Elina but i read it like i would Alina - that said i love that it's less common yet still uncomplicated
I think Eh-LEH-na is most common pronunciation in US. In Italy that name is EH-le-na. Not sure about Spanish.
