Hi Everyone! I'm looking to transition from healthcare consulting to pharma / biotech preferably in BD / corporate strategy roles, especially in LA area. Would appreciate if you can share your experience if you have made the amas transition (roles? Work type?). Looking to get a sense of what type of work exists out there.

For context, I've a PhD in Life sciences and 1.5 YOE in healthcare consulting at a boutique consulting firm

What are some companies (big and small) working in interesting neuroscience/neurology related projects including pharma, med tech, ect.? How do you all keep up with neuroscience news to stay in the know?

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?
