I use fall decor in sept, oct and nov. then i switch to christmas/winter decor.
I do decorate my classroom seasonally. I would not say I go “all out” but I do have decorations that I have collected over the years that I put up. I have fall leaf garlands and pumpkins that I display. In the winter I have snowflakes and snowmen, and in the spring I have some flowers and butterflies that I display.
I tried to have limited decorations. I mainly used lights…different colors for different holidays. Many kids means celebrating different holidays, so lights expresses those differences easily and quickly. I did have a I decorated pumpkin in my room, but parents get whacked out on the demonic “issues” about Halloween. I work in a very liberal minded district. Keeping it simple also meant I didn’t have to celebrate “issues” I didn’t feel comfortable with. Keep it simple.

I do like the idea of using lights. I need to check my fairy lights to see if they have color settings.
I love all the seasons!!! Of course, fall has a special place in my heart! I put up all fall items in my classroom: leaves, pumpkin cut outs, fall pictures and i bring in fall candles for my lunchtime enjoyment.

I do love the fall scents candles and plug-ins
One of the classrooms I work in has a bunch of seasonal lights up and a plastic jack-o'-lantern. We have also been doing Halloween/Fall sensory tables.
