I have added a daily routine of giving my wife of foot rub when we unwind at the end of the day, and it has been awesome for our marriage. It’s an easy way to be supportive and take care of someone who takes care of you, and it’s a great way to unwind for me because it requires just the right amount of engagement to be present. I take the time to listen empathetically to my wife’s day and just be there for her. It only took me about 15 minutes to learn some great and easy techniques on YouTube!

My marriage is struggling and we have to pack up the kids and fake it till we make it with my in laws for most of their Christmas break. Confession: The only in-law that I had a great relationship with passed away unexpectedly. The two remaining in-laws were on thin ice with me prior due to years of drama, nagging, and disgusting display of wealth. I believe their demand of money and general assholish behavior drove in law to his death. I love my S.O. but I can’t deal with the drama anymore.

So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.
She sent over a sample ceremony (intro, sweet poems + passages to be read, and example vows), and we read through it last night. I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening. I’m just really happy that I found someone who is willing to take a vow to spend his life with me and I’m so excited for that day :)

During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch. Somewhere along the line I feel like my fiancé saw too much. I no longer feel like romantic parters and instead feel like we have a “caretaker/patient” type relationship. I don’t feel sexy or attractive anymore. I talked to him about this and he feels bad. But I feel guilty for bringing it up. Anyone else had this issue?

I am devastated. Ive been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years we were taking about getting married and having kids. Then I discovered he was also in another relationship - 2 years in.
He promised her all the same sweet stuff. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself but I'm not sure I can recover from this.

I felt like a walking zombie during thanksgiving, barely eating and barely talking. My family is small and I told them ahead of time my relationship ended. I focused on my niece and nephews, cried when I wanted to and slept from 8pm-noon for the last 5 days. Showered once or twice. That’s the best I could do and that’s OK right now. I’m back in my apartment, just trying to take it one day at a time, and not re read his texts too much. My birthday is Thursday 🙄
