FALSE COMPLIMENT: As a teacher, have you been given the false compliment, "You are a strong teacher, I know you can handle this?" While the "not so strong teacher" is having an easier "X". I never understood this because the "not so strong teacher" is not being developed and the "strong teacher" is being burnt out. How do you handle being a "Strong Teacher?" Asking for a friend.

I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? It’s been extremely stressful and harmful to my ptsd anxiety and depression.

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?
