What are firms utilization and sales expectations for manager? My sales for first year manager is 1m and utilization is 70%. Is this generally normal, lenient, or aggressive? I’m at a small boutique ~100 people
If you are on an FWA, do you need to meet your FWA utilization hours every week? I.e I am 75% so do I need 30 charge plus whatever admin hours to mercury? I am talking to my people consultant and she seems to think so. In a job that is highly seasonal, how is this possible??

For utilization, if the denominator is fixed to 2080 (40 x 52), there is no way you can be a 100% utilized even if you're staffed throughout the year and bill 8 hours per business day?

I left a boutique consulting company because I felt under utilized. Joined a larger supposedly hip consultancy with local market model with great expectations and am finding myself let down by the experience - the client, work, teamwork and collaboration, technical content is not per what was promised and feels like I am back to my b4 days. 19 years ago today, I was giving a pitch at Canadien Tire in Niagara Falls. The meetings were cancelled, but the borders were closed and I could not return to the US for 3 days. I ended up driving my rental car home to Denver and was there before any flights were up.
