Leo still has Marlboro. They’ll be fine.

Forever Marlboro has sustained the agency globally

Leo has known about losing this business for at least 10 months. They made financially responsible moves around it. They should be commended for no layoffs resulting. Still have six people with the word chief in their titles of course. Do you need a chief marketing officer and a new business director? But well played for absorbing this loss and planning for it. Planning for financial problems is something Omnicom agencies have clearly not done...Go Leo!

There was a time when Allstate represented almost a third of Burnett’s Billings. It doesn’t seem like the agency had to layoff very many people to adjust for the loss. Smart financial planning. Omnicom could learn from this

Leo planned poorly putting an out of touch ECD back on the biz, who then proceeded to power grab and spiral downward, eventually being asked off the business. Good people were then laid off. Of course the ECD kept her job on another piece of business. Typical.

You’re freelance, so you obviously know the inside story.

I thought AllState had its own in house agency??

That’s DrogAccenture

Allstate just staffed up big in house like they were gonna run everything through there. 🤔

At least State Farm stayed in Chicago. But too many other accounts leaving. 😔

Just curious how was it a long time coming? Wonder what DrogAccenture5 will do to the creative.

Yes he is from ogilvy forever. They worked the direct biz alongside the Leo mainline

A male colleague of mine, who just joined the team this week, has made inappropriate advancements towards me during a team event, touching my leg while talking to me and saying how pretty I am. Worst thing is he’s joining my project too… It’s a no brainer that this is unacceptable, but it’s the first time this happened to me in a work setting and I’m unsure how to handle it. What steps should I take first? Report to HR immediately or speak to my team’s partner first? Any advice is appreciated

I’ve recently accepted an ACI offer from Bain in a main office. What is everyone’s opinion on the outlook of Bain 5/10/20 years out? I occasionally hear remarks BCG and McKinsey are widening the gap and this has me questioning potentially re-recruiting. For context, I love Bain and the culture, but this concern paired with slower promotion is a little unsettling.
