Haha, the emoji bullet points are a dead giveaway! Also, when everything sounds weirdly polished but kinda empty, like it’s saying a lot without really saying anything. Repetitive phrasing and awkwardly formal tone are big signs too.

I've seen people claim that AI material often has an excessive usage of em dashes, and they are often used wrongly. I can't say I've noticed that myself, but I also don't recall seeing emoji bullet points. For me, the giveaway is in the tone, it's generally genial yet poorly written near-gibberish. As execrable as that is, the problem is that it's how many businesspeople write on their best day.

How do you guys deal with portfolio drift? My personal portfolio has drifted due to great performance. Now my dilemma although good is do I reduce it. The problem is this investment drifted from 20% target to 25% but I still think it’s undervalued.

For expert witnesses/lawyers

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
