During BGC, an undisclosed MCA directorship surfaced for a private company that never became operational and generated no revenue. I never received any remuneration or financial benefit.

is anyone familiar with pay differentials, negotiating for a temporary raise or some other form of compensation for extra work? 3 coworkers on my team have recently resigned, and certain shifts are being expected to work at half staff until new hires can be brought on. if my workload is being doubled, i expect to be compensated, as they are paying one employee to do the work of two. any suggestions or wording on how to address this?

Do you think it's better to work hard and wait for a promotion based on your skills or to actively ask for and pursue a promotion?
