Lots of drama a few years back + shipped in partner in charge from another office who is totally out of touch. Office went down the drain.
This might be too old of a post now, but in what ways was/is the other office partner in charge out of touch? Considering a lateral.
I think the culture is actually decent but the firm as a whole does not prioritize the office so everyone is underpaid.

Also…generally re Jones Day - in case you don’t know, no bonuses. They’ll try to tell you that the bonus is baked into comp (hello black box) but that quickly goes away. Then you complain and get a big raise and then the next year a tiny raise. Same work, less comp - why stay?
