I don’t like my firm and trying to switch. I’m a licensed rep but not a FA, a 401k guy. Interviewers always ask why I am looking to leave. I try to explain the structure isn’t a good fit...

I need your advice.. kind of a shit situation. Headed for divorce and can’t afford everything on my own. I thought abt pulling $60k from 401k to pay for everything (bills, etc) so I can afford rent and living on my own.. question is would let your credit go or save it and take a hit from a 401k draw? I really need help from everyone here: I am a tax senior, and I have offer from both EY and MNP. I was at Deloitte earlier and I am not sure which to pick. Same package/benefits. While EY is a great firm and the partners are amazing and all experiences of Big4 and it's resources, MNP has this charm of a Canadian firm and great culture. I don't know much but people say MNP is a great organization. The people I will work with are all amazing to speak during interview. What to do now?

Would you take high risk / high reward consulting gig at a small firm? Comp is hourly and project based. Firm has a good foothold in the niche market. Offers lots of flexibility. But no benefits and since it’s project and hourly based it’s feast or famine. If you have a partner (spouse, domestic partner, etc.) and they had a stable job, would it change your perspective of taking the high risk/high reward role?

I graduated in June with a dual BSBA in healthcare management and human resources management/organizational management and two associates degrees in business and arts. I have twelve years of experience as a certified clinical medical assistant.

I'm having trouble finding my first job as a healthcare manager. After submitting many applications and receiving so many rejection emails, I've become frustrated. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

1) partner pension - I heard they are changing the formula. Can you elaborate on what the change is and if you feel it hurts new partners?

2) partner buy in - what is the actual buy in $ amount? I've heard $250k but wanted to confirm.

My partner is a PhD student, US resident alien, and Indian national who has been a student in the US for 6-7 years now. I feel like quitting law after baby and being a mom FT. Will I regret it? Can anyone attest to utilizing couples therapy and if it worked for you and your partner?
My current partner and I have been together almost 5 years, not married or engaged, but since moving in with each other (going on 2 years) we frequently have petty arguments about cleaning, food prep, etc. Just basic stuff when it comes to maintaining a home. Outside of that, the relationship is great.
