Ask them to be more specific about what they want. If they can't articulate themselves properly then there's nothing you an do to help bring their vision to life. Ask for them to provide examples that you can use as reference for what they're looking for. More salesy doesn'y really mean all that much, it's on you to make them dig deeper and give you something to work with.
Did your comp actually give a call to action?
If you want to take a stab at it without possibly pissing off the "feedbacker," assume they mean more appealing, more likely to persuade someone to buy the item -- what was once called "sexy" back before that four-letter word became a, well, four-letter word. If they shoot back and say that's not what they meant, they open the door for you to ask, "Then what the hell DO you want?" Or, probably a llittle less redneckish language. See, I can make up words too.
Ask for clearer feedback or references
A few years back we would say “Faster, better, cheaper… pick two” but today clients say “Faster cheaper, more likely to convert. I’ll take all three please.” The struggle is real.
