Has anyone dealt with a toddler that prefers your partner over you? I’m the mom and my daughter only wants my husband. Will cry for him, will hug him and won’t come to me. It breaks my heart.

My toddler’s fave person is my MIL. My husband is novel now (around less than I am), but I was the fave when our kid was itty bitty and it was hard on him. Try creating one-on-one rituals. There are books that only he reads to our kid, so those are special experiences. He also does ”Daddy Donut Day” on Friday mornings.

It’s painful. The good news is this is very common, it’s a phase, and your daughter definitely still loves you. Don’t take it personally (even though it’s hard not to). There’s a lot of literature online (Huckleberry, What to Expect, etc.) that if nothing else, should affirm these points. Also, how you respond to it (what you or your husband say to your kid and what you tell yourself internally) has an impact.

Bought my first club set online (used to rent) and I was bending a lot more than usual. Stopped by PGA store and found out I need 1” long clubs, so I returned my set and am on the lookout for new clubs. Any advice for 1” long beginner sets? One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?
