How are the exit opportunities from Big 4 Human Capital? What kinda of roles/salaries can someone get as a Senior Consultant exiting? Is it hard to get into HR M&A, Change Management roles at larger Tech firms - and is the Big 4 experience a value add?
Deloitte and EY folks - which firm is better for Mulesoft/API Integration competency? I have offer from Deloitte at the SC level, not on par with my total experience and skills in the Integration domain. EY initial discussion happened for Manager role. What range can I expect as Base at EY ? Thanks!
Anyone hiring for a Senior Consultant PMO role?
Interviewed for a SC role within S&A at Deloitte but the team came back and said they feel more comfortable bringing me in as a C. The salary would be comparable to what I’m making now. So, my question is: is the D brand worth making a lateral move for? The place I currently work is not as “prestigious”, but all-in-all it’s a good company and I have incredible WLB for a Consultant.
Looking for some advice. Had final rounds on Friday with Deloitte Monitor Deloitte Strategy group. I received a call from the recruiter saying they really liked me and I scored highest on all the factors however I was advised the offer would come in as an experienced SC when I applied for a Manager role. I have 6.5 YOE (1 in industry, the rest in consulting - started as a C and now M for the past year). Does this offer level seem accurate? Just a little confused because job posting said 5+ YOE.
What are the amazon levels for security? SM with 13 YOE. I applied for principal. Recruiter emailed and said the position was filled and asked if I would be interested in a senior consultant role. I don’t care so much about title. More on salary. EU based if it matters.
UK Based. Recieved an offer from Cap Invent at SC, numbers are underwhelming but they're claiming it's an out of band offer, OTE just about matches my existing comp. I'm interim lead of the DigStrat practice at my current firm (similar IT services firm) so would be stepping down to into a team member role at Invent. Any advice, if they really wanted me would they be offering a decent uplift?
Happy Sunday! tl;dr How do I negotiate the right raise upon receiving a promotion? Context: I'm currently up for midyear promotion that would be effective at the end of September. If promoted, I want to make sure my raise is fair and competitive to what those are currently making at my level with similar experience and location. Performance-wise, my level of performance in my position (Consultant) equates to above average at the level I'm pursuing (Senior Consultant). CONTINUED IN COMMENTS...

I recently got a verbal offer from EY FSO for SC position. In email I was asked to provide my desired salary. Per suggestion from this group I gave 140k as my desired salary for Dallas location. EY 🐠!! Can someone please tell me if the role “business consulting - senior - technology risk” is an internal role or if it’s like an actual senior consultant role like in advisory or management consulting with an up or out progression model?
Anyone able to give genuine advice on how a Senior Consultant can (i) perform well in current role and (ii) advance to manager? It's a mix of both performing solidly as SC and showing signs that I can handle the next level, but would be very grateful if someone experienced can shed some light! #mentorship

PM 🐠, is there value-add in bringing on a ‘freelance’ or ‘project’ based Associate Product Manager (mostly at a startup or nonprofit)? I’m currently in a strategy role, but looking to gain tangible PM experience by essentially working for free as an APM. What are some reasons such orgs would be open to bringing me on vs not?
My current role is a Business Analyst. I am very comfortable interacting with people and also Ambiguity. Recently, I developed quite a lot of interest in Product management and I want to make a transition into this stream. I would love to get handson with the concepts that I am learning, but not sure (TBC)

I’m looking if a certain dentist accepts my dental via EY’s Better You “Find a network provider”. If the dentist doesn’t show up, that that mean the dentist doesn’t take insurance or that insurance doesn’t work with that dentist? Meaning if I wanted to ask if my dental insurance would be accepted, would I first ask the dentist in question or get on a call with my insurance provider?

It appears the starting salary/draw is a bit varied even with in the big-4 but it is my understanding overtime (3-5 years), most of them average out dont know about mid tear. is midtier better as they less overhead and more marketshare to grow? or even within big-4 is there one firm much better than the other comp & retirement wise

Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
