Need few valuable suggestions on below situation.
One guy A joined as a fresher in Wipro for 3.5LPA(been 3 months around, no project allocated yet),
And then an offer was in pipeline with Y and finally received an offer with 5LPA and the role is related to cyber security.
Note: pf account is already created by wipro and Y is a good mnc though Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?
Thanks in advance

Does your coworker wear perfume normally, or mentioned that she likes the brand? I would kill for a Sephora gift card over a perfume I don’t wear/like the brand/scent. I know GC may seem impersonal but I ❤️ them. I’m a picky person sooo it just works better
I got sample in the mail and really enjoy it and will be getting it myself! Unless you know this person well though, I would go with a gift card as well. You don’t know that they will like it and I know quite a few people who are allergic. And they also may not enjoy this scent at all.
I would never choose a perfume for someone else. Also, anything Kardasian can be divisive. Not everyone loves them.
Perfume is too personal of a gift and agree above the kardashians are divisive. I’m not a kardashian fan and if someone gave me their makeup I’d give it away to a friend.
Candles and a hand written card expressing my gratitude would be my go to.
Agree on the Kardashian point. GC or snother route to like mentioned here is preferable
Thanks so much for your comments ladies! You all have officially changed my mind to get her a GC instead, and it totally makes sense.
GC or card, unless your coworker has dropped hints what she wants to buy for herself - GC to help with that. Never perfume. Weirdly my grandmothers use to gift performed, because at the time they were viewed as a highly expensive and hard to get gift (think Chanel no 5, etc) so I understand the sentiment.
