Best bet would be to do an internal transfer if possible at the company you’re working at. I’m trying to do the opposite (move from the US to Europe). From my experience so far, companies seem reluctant to hire folks externally from abroad. I’m not sure if it’s the initial sponsorship or something else…

The easiest visa to get is the L1 visa which is via Internal Transfer. Try to cover from your European base some US clients and deals - work with your US peers. After a year if things go well for you you might be able to ask for an L1 transfer. Don’t think there are any other way except the visa lottery but that can take 5 years +.
