Good lord this open space is insufferable
Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

Lateraled from Chicago to Dallas. Agree with the comment above about choosing a city first, then focusing your search there. I was lucky enough to already be licensed in TX since I’m from TX originally, so likely different from your experience, but I know there’s a lot of heat in this market and no one really cares where you’re coming from.
I had kids, wife wanted to move close to family. Also no state income tax and cheaper living generally.
Agree with the Parker+Lynch reply, always good to have a connection but seems like my firm’s reliance on that is fading (just hired a junior originally from Canada and where all his family are). I think showing a strong commitment to the market you want will carry you.
I've worked with many lateral associates (and partners) relocating to Texas from NYC. With many Am Law firms paying Cravath level comp, a very low cost of living, and no state income tax, they definitely keep more of their money. And the work in Texas is highly sophisticated. You'd want to consider Texas bar licensure.
There are a lot of opportunities in Texas for lateral associates right now. My suggestion is to decide which city best suits you — Dallas, Houston or Austin. Then focus on that city. As a transplant from the east coast, there are definite differences between the cities and you’ll want to choose wisely.
It's true. I was born and raised in Dallas, lived in Austin for a while, and have been in Houston for the rest. All are very different and have a different "feel". Houston and Dallas tend to pay better than Austin. The market is very active - especially for certain practice areas. I've scheduled seven candidate interviews in the last five days.
