Are Booz Allen salaries heavily anchored by YOE? I'm getting pitched 120-140k for 3 YOE and MS with data science. Not sure if I'm being lowballed but TC I'm being pitched for at competitive tech companies (not FAANG or equivalents but still selective) seem to be 25-50% higher. It's a Lead Associate role. Booz Allen Hamilton
Thoughts on joining as an Analytical Lead associate through the ASAP program? Would love any insight into the role etc

Should I leave the work-life balance and stable job as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen for an up or out Senior Manager role at Deloitte? Is it worth the risk?
My firm recently removed the CPA requirement to make manager in FDD stating that it is following the market. Being a CPA is definitely better than not being one but will it hurt my exit opportunities if I decide to not pursue my license? Do companies outside of public accounting even care that much about having your license / are others seeing this same trend?
What are your thoughts on the chief of staff role at a startup? I want to get into tech startups but don’t have an “idea” yet and am not a “builder/engineer”. I read the JDs for this type of role and it sounds like a great role for a former management consultant/strategic advisor and a good way to get into startups and set yourself up to run your own startup some day…is my understanding correct or should I approach getting into startups a different way?
Has anyone interned part-time at a startup while working full time in consulting? I recently saw a startup post an intern position which was 10 hours a week. Thought it would be a cool opportunity to get exposure to a startup life. Would be interested in learning more

What are some exit opps for a well-rounded consultant that's not specialized in anything?
Has anyone here drafted their own prenup? Context: I am first year attorney and my partner is about to start law school part time. Other than debt and our 401ks, neither of us is bringing much to the table in terms of assets. We want a prenup to opt out of equitable distribution laws and how martial property is defined. We aren’t sure it is worth the expense of both hiring lawyers to draft what is likely to be a simple document. But we also want a prenup that will hold up in court.
All - looking for a referral to the product development and procurement fellow role at Mckinsey. Please dm / comment. Would appreciate your help.
What if your entire consulting career thus far have been a variety of functional roles (BA/PM type) and no expertise in 1 area/technology/industry? How are exit ops to other firms or even industry?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
@McK 🐠🐟 I'm a BA starting in two weeks and I was curious about seating on flights. Can I request always getting extra legroom or exit row as I'm a 6'5" male and can't fit in a smaller seat? Contd...

I'm sure this heavily firm and individual dependent, but generally what happens to seniors who don't make partner at market firms? Are they pushed out? After when? And what are the general exit options?
I’m turning down a higher role with higher pay (12% higher) solely because the HR team has been extremely unhelpful throughout the decision making process. From not getting responses for weeks, to consistently receiving “I don’t know, let me follow up” then not receiving follow ups, and everything in between. All of the interviews leading up to the offer was great, but then red flags started popping up making me feel very uneasy joining this company. Have you ever denied an offer because of HR??
College student here. I was curious as to McK’s undergrad hiring process. I see that it seems they want you to indicate a preference for a specific practice area (such as Ops or Corp Fin),...(cont.)

Accenture's o9 Solution Architect (Supply Chain Planning) Opportunity - recruiter reached out for a consultant role. I'm interested, but I'm not sure if I will be pigeon holed with this role since the job title and description are specifically tied to o9. Is anyone willing to give me more insight?
My gf got a referral at Accenture and put her application in 10 days ago. She’s wondering how long turnaround time typically is and if she should’ve heard by now. I said it could take a month before they look at it but she’s still stressed. Anyone know typical turnaround time at Accenture
