Hi! I am seeking for an advise, anything helps! I applied to Accenture’s entry level analyst program. I applied a few days ago (I know it’s a bit late, but the application is still open thankfully). Yesterday, I joined a resume workshop w/ an Accenture recruiter. She went through my resume and said that I have a strong one! I’ve also set up a coffee chat w/ her next week. Unfortunately, I got an email today from the system, they decided not to move forward :( Should I reach out to her abt this?

Can I file for EAD renewal more than 180 days in advance?
USCIS say we “generally speaking shouldn’t file for it with more than 180 days in advance” – but I’m asking if there’s any harm in doing so. I don’t want my 2019 EAD nightmare to happen again.

My VP asked my fellow team member to take on a task simply because of her race to help them land a grant renewal. We’re both women of color but since I didn’t match the target audience I was not asked even though the task is on a project I am overseeing. To those of you who are planning to apply to MBA: Make sure you choose your recommender CAREFULLY. Really evaluate the person you’re requesting the letter from, their personality, and their relationship with you. You don’t want to be back stabbed like me 🙃

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?
