Hey all, my gf is new to luxury bags and wears mostly coach discounted bags. She expressed interest in luxury bags from brands like Chanel/Celine. A resounding YES from my end. Both brand are what I would consider top of the line luxury without being too gauche or trendy…she’ll be able to wear these for years. Only question is if the Chanel flap is a color other than black…you might consider camel / beige for one of them

Have you thought about going shopping together? When I’m spending big money I like to LOVE the item. It’s not enough for it to just have the nice logo

I don't know much with Celine but definitely a yes on the Chanel. The mini flap is a cute bag if she doesn't carry much / good for evening events. Albeit expensive, none of my girl friends have told me that they are not happy when they got a Chanel.

I recommend switching the Celine Besace teen to the classic Teen Triomphe size for functionality. The chanel mini flap bag is absolutely a yes, just make sure it’s not tweed, patent leather, or sequins and should be good :)

If you’re getting Celine definitely consider the real real or another secondary. I sold a $3300 Celine I didnt like anymore and they sold it for $1400!!! Talk about a great deal
