Anyone else the last to be informed about ANYTHING at their site? I am only a second year SPED teacher and my eyes are already wide open to the fact that admin and Gen Ed teachers so often fail to inform me about important things regarding the grade levels I teach and other school events. Need advice. Very Shy guy and girl, met a while back for a side hustle both like each other a LOT, relationship has progressed in other areas but not in the physical realm, primarily because neither officially asked the other out. Guy is a very rough around edges, asked for a date by saying ‘anytime you need breakfast or lunch, let me know’. I am an independent gal and didn’t like the way it came across. I’m a UX designer with 2 YOE in a design agency currently at 12.5LPA. I’ve recently landed an offer at a startup for 16.5 LPA + 2L esops with 2yr cliff period for a senior UX design role. I want to know if it’s worth to make the switch or wait some more?

PS: This was my first interview in the switching process so I’m not sure if I could have landed better offers or if this is the best I could get.

Is anyone else facing the brunt of working in a service based company and trying to move to a startup product company being dragged down by the 90 days notice period.

I have had a couple of interviews with good startup product companies where the main issue is my 90 days of notice period. Most startups simply run away at the mention of 90 days NP.

Even established product companies shy away at this. Has anyone recently switched despite this long a notice period?

Working as a UI/UX designer at a WITCH company since 2 years. I’ve pursued my M.Des from one of the IITs and have a CTC of 14 LPA. I’m looking for a switch soon and would like to know what could be the pay n companies like Walmart, Honeywell, Philips, Ola etc?

I need some legit feedback on what is it like to be a UXD at companies like Accenture?
They claim to do a lot of research oriented designs, as everyone. But is that really the case or it's like some other service based companies where the UX is almost vague, and happens mostly based on what the managers think to be good?

Does UX have any value or it's just drafting wireframes based on ideations by the managers and then UI designs?
