Been there, done that. Negotiated 90 days to 50 days and buyout for the rest 40 days with offer in hand. Currently serving NP and also interviewing for other good companies.
There are still companies who accept 90 days notice period like Accenture and Deloitte. Keep looking out for the ones who do.
Negotiation/ buyout (if eligible) works. And I agree with the other comment. The only alternative is to submit one's papers after securing an offer and continuing to apply in other companies to better that offer.
The most ironic part is companies that have an issue with hiring candidates with 90 days notice are the same ones who usually have 90 day notice periods in their own offers.
Exactly true! That’s totally ironic 😂
Even i had 90 days. Fortunately, grabbed one of the offers which was only 30 % hike. After resigning got many calls and gave interview. Received agood hike after that. Try this method if possible.
I have felt the same way as you did when offers got rejected just cz of notice.
