I just ordered the 44" Thinkvision p44w-10. Good discounts on that through most employer discount programs. I'm upgrading to that from the 34" HP s340c.
It takes some getting used to, but ultrawide are great, I feel more productive with one ultrawide than with dual monitors. And I have my laptop open as an extra screen with my to-do list and Spotify on that screen.
Also many ultrawide have PIP/PbP and KVM switches so you can have both a personal laptop and work laptop plugged into them at the same time. So you can have the ultrawide switch between each computer instantly, or split down the middle with one half being your personal and the other half work (other ratios available). And the KVM switch allows you to use one keyboard and mouse with both laptops.
Just for work or for other uses? If just work you won’t need super high definition or refresh rate
Just work - looking for a reasonably priced monitor that will make WFH easier
