Hi everyone! I have an interview tomorrow at Fractal Analytics for a Data Analytics role. The HR mentioned that the interview will be taken by an engagement manager and might include both technical and problem-solving questions — sounds like a techno managerial round. Has anyone been through a similar round at Fractal or in the data analytics domain? What kind of questions should I expect, and how can I best prepare for it? Would really appreciate any tips or insights!

Career pivot into consulting? I've always been in a non client serving role and I just want that opportunity? Even completed an MBA and no luck. Too much experience in one area that am no longer interested on.

Does your firm give you credit for hours that were written off? Sometimes I feel if you don’t lose anything for hours cut from the bill, you have incentives not to be 100% honest w/ your timesheet.

Any tips when leaving a firm? Younger associate <1 year.

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

Yoga folks! I used to do yoga and exercise frequently. Things happened, getting back on the wagon. I'd love to work up to a daily practice even if it's just a few mins - but I do need to incorporate other programming as I've got some covid lbs to lose. For those of you who do yoga regularly, wondering how you incorporate and/or balance your practice vs. other types of workouts or if you mostly do strengthening type yoga in that case.

It feels like my pay and title are lower than my scope of duties. I manage Youtube channels and do all strategy, planning, talent management, rework content for socials, reporting, graphic design, + a bunch of other stuff. Do you think I should be something like Video Content Manager? A Strategist maybe? My company doesn't have career pathing & I think they'd be happy to keep giving me more work with the same pay.
