Hi fishes , I received an offer from Deloitte with a DOJ of May 26th, but due to my current employer’s end date being June 25th, I requested an extension. HR informed me that June falls into the next fiscal year (FY26) and that DOJ extensions aren’t possible until project confirmations are in place.

Has anyone faced a similar situation where a DOJ extension was denied due to fiscal year planning? Could this delay my joining further, or is there a risk of my offer being revoked if I can’t join?

So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?
