Hi folks,

I’d appreciate advice on two offers I have.

Wells Fargo : ~31 LPA (28.5 fixed + 2.7 variable), Senior Software Engineer, hybrid 3 days WFO.

Chubb business services india : ~33 LPA (29.6 fixed + 2.4 variable + 1L joining bonus), Software Engineer, hybrid 3 days WFO.

Tech stack: Angular, .NET, SQL Server, Azure. Experience: 6 years.

I heard Wells Fargo enforces a base location WFH restriction—any insights on that, and how culture/growth compares between the two firms?

Don't consider joining WF; there is a lot of uncertainty here, and the ECO system isn't very good. It's ultimately up to you, so consider your options carefully before making a choice.decision.

Really odd, the bottom leaf on my fiddle turned yellow REALLY fast, most of the rest of the leaves seem fine. It’s right in an east facing window with maybe 1-2 hours of direct sun per day the. Tons of ambient lighting the rest of the day. Pls help!

I’m working in a large fund; market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?

I have so many deadlines lined up and need to work over 15 hours each day. I am already burned out and have no motivation to work. Part of me dares me to not work and face the consequences, at the end of the day its just a job. Is it normal to feel this way? I am just not able to find the motivation to work.
