I don't have experience with fiddle leaf figs but is it possible that it's just shedding older leaves as it grows taller? Both my coffee plant and ZZ slowly shed leaves (that turn yellow first) as they mature. If the fiddle leaf has a 'trunk' like coffee plants do, as it grows the trunk gets woodier towards the base which causes the leaves to fall off.
What's the water situation? is the soil dry down to an inch?
okay, that sounds about right. I don't have much experience with fiddle leaf figs cause i just got mine a couple months ago, but it seems like they are very easily stressed.
Very cute plant! I hope it feels better soon. I got a moisture meter off of Amazon for my plants - you may want to grab one. It automatically detects moisture and you can match that with the recommended amount of moisture for the soil.
Sunburn. They like bright, indirect light.
They lose bottom leaves when they grow a new one. That’s why tall fiddle leaf figs have a bare trunk and small ones dont
Looks like it is happening on all of the lower leaves which, to me, points to a nitrogen deficiency. Do you provide any nutrients?
