Can anyone explain to me what a counter offer is, and how one goes about giving a counter offer without any initial numbers? I've been asked my expected CTC as well.
Will I need to furnish another offer letter to ensure my expected CTC is retained?

Currently I am working as a automation tester and have 4.3 yrs of exp in globant. But due to return to office, I resigned from globant. I have few offers from telus(permanent WFH), Zs associates (WFO), Hughes Systique(WFO).
The location is Delhi ncr. And CTC is also nearly same(20lpa).
For telus, the shift is 1-10pm. anyone suggest which one to choose?

16 - Fixed & 45k variable component with 1Lakh joining bonus. I'm having 5.8 YOE working as Senior ACon with current CTC - 11lpa
I have cleared 2nd round(managerial) with TCS direct project recruitment and waiting for salary negotiation. I'm confused whether to join TCS now itself (which might be too soon to settle down) or go for CTS for next 2 years. Please suggest me. My priorities are Steady growth, Work life balance, Job security.
