No, I didn’t even know such things existed. I guess it makes sense. I would be skeptical to be one of the first people to try these. AI produces trash and you Don’t want them to mess up and Apply to all the companies You might want to work with a bad cover letter and résumé. But good luck to you if you try it. Let us know how it goes.
I find it much more worth my time to make a solid resume, tailor as necessary, apply online, and then spend time trying to get in touch with the hiring manager and/or recruiter….
And how are you doing that when they’re not listed on the posting?
That’s a great way to get auto-rejected by the AI systems that HR departments use to filter out AI-assisted applications and resumes.
Intrigued. What’s the name of the AI and how do I find it?
The one I've been hearing about is called Better Apply
Of course, I had to ask AI what it thought. Here you go: "You can use AI to help apply for multiple jobs, but it's only "okay" if you heavily customize the AI-generated content for each role; mass-spamming generic AI applications risks lower quality, appearing unfocused, and potentially getting rejected by recruiters who spot robotic wording, inconsistencies, or a lack of genuine interest in the specific job. AI tools are great for automating tedious tasks like auto-filling forms and tracking, but they need human oversight to tailor experience and motivation to each unique job description for better results."
I'd bet many are just data mining programs.
No, I haven't tried it and I know things like that are essentially a scam. I've heard recruiters complain about people who are "spam applying" to any open position and that's part of what they're referring to. I would guess the chance of getting a job through a spam program like that would have to be very remote.
On the other hand, most recruiters deserve to be buried in AI applications since they don’t bother or respond or ghost you at every opportunity. Jobs are so scarce these days you gotta play all the numbers.
