When updating your LinkedIn is it good or bad to specify what “type” of consultant you are in the title? For example - Management consultant, Healthcare consultant, Technology consultant (at x firm), etc. Or just put Consultant (at x firm). I’ve seen both ways and am wondering if one is considered more standard than the other?

With everything going on, I'm getting really depressed and demotivated working in consulting and having to deal with all the uncertainty and instability. Have started looking for internal talent management consultant/manager roles. Anyone willing to share their salary, vacation and maternity benefits for comparison? I'm sure I'll be taking a paycut and less bens, but wondering if there's probability that it's not too bad.

How much money do you think a typical late 20s management consultant has in investments/cash/401k (overall savings)? I want to exclude those with cash from parents. I know there’s no real answer given the large variety of different factors at play, but just curious what people would think.
