I’ve been in my role as a SC for the better part of 3 years, watching my peers and even some more recent hires make the jump to Manager. I have lots of quality experience as an Engagement Manager, and I have a very in demand skill set for my area. I’ve even taken over the role of a previous EM (billing at a band above me) while still billing as an SC for most of 2020. My manager’s feedback is to manage up better in order to improve my visibility and boost my promotion app - thoughts on this?

Position with a mid size small business doing presales work that would give you experience in commercial markets as well along with fed C. MBB 🐠 - I posted similar post in the consulting bowl, and received some decent responses to the post. Hoping to get some good responses here as well. I have a case study interview with a boutique M&A strategy firm for Experienced Manager position. They said it’s not a typical case study interview, rather it’s more geared towards project management, fee structure, or something similar. I’m not sure exactly what that means. What does typical engagement manager interview look like at MBB? TIA!
