Hi, this is my first time on this app, I hope what I’m about to post is okay.

Anyway, I’m a junior going into senior year in high school in New York City and I need help or advice on what jobs to approach that will accept 17 year olds since I’m one myself.

I’ve got prior experience from a program offered by the state, I just need general information of the best jobs wether it’s from a big corp. like mcdonalds or small jobs like pet walking or babysitting etc.

I feel like your options are retail or fast food. Most jobs in financial world that I am aware of will want you to be 18 or older.

Offering advice to job seekers who go around recruiters and message hiring teams, execs, etc. You are putting the Recruiters job in danger. If a Recruiter declines you or doesn’t choose to reach out, it is because the hiring team declined you, or you don’t have the experience. You will most likely not be considered for future roles because of this. When I see people giving advice to reach outside the Recruiter, it’s bad advice. Very rare is this a good idea.
