I think what will get people noticed is simply networking. If someone comes to me and says they know someone I should meet with, that means something to me. Those personal referrals may not guarantee anything, but any time you can get in the door and talk to someone you're making valuable progress.

^ networking helps a lot and will often get you through the door
I know it's tough out there. I hire for IT but I can be sure that posting original content on LinkedIn can help if it’s relevant and thoughtful, but it’s not mandatory. Sending targeted, well-researched cold emails stands out more than mass outreach and printed resumes can make a memorable impression but is less common and depends on the industry. The best advice: focus on customizing your approach, be authentic about your skills and interests, and try to build genuine connections rather than just casting a wide net.

this is helpful thank you!
Most industries are facing a ton of competition right now, so the best and first thing to do is take a deep breath and know it’s not just you experiencing it. Try to focus on what you are looking for, tailor your resume for each job, and you should reach out to your network to connect with others.
