I have a possible opportunity at Protiviti. Coming from big4 and wondering if Protiviti has fairly similar perks. I’ve read the 2022 benefits guide and it gave a oddly low PTO count of 16 days. Is this true and what about a holiday disconnect in the December time period? Are there any other hidden perks that are awesome? The last of the digital agencies to go in Dublin? The traditional agencies learned how to do digital far beyond any of the digital agencies ever could. The digital agencies unfortunately, never learned how to do traditional creative, or how to create big ideas. Hence, 15 years on they’re all wiped out.
I can’t blame a CD for encouraging entries. Fck knows I have.
But I’ve also judged at some and been instructed to ignore results. And seen absolute donkeys get awarded because of peer pressure in the room.
So personally, as happy as I’ll be next time I win one, I try to see them for what they are..costly, subjective and often pretty damn superficial
It really depends what you’re definition of a digital agency is. For me a digital agency is one who can do the content and comms and can seriously design and build a digital customer experience (site / app). There are not many agencies that can do that. Traditional agencies invested by hiring developers but struggled to get to grips with technical requirements and build methodologies. Many agencies have divested from this part of digital and now focus on the ads / content. Those that didn’t find themselves in a strong position now because the web work has not been impacted by Covid in fact it’s become more important as more companies look to sell direct to consumer.
