What’s the realistic salary expectations post-pandemic for an experiential producer with 5+ years of experience and 8+ years of managerial experience (in multiple fields)?? Is everyone seeing a rise in lower paying jobs and starter roles?? Im in a role equivalent to my entry level college role which was almost 8 years ago.

I’m newish to being a film producer after rotating from account at my ad agency. I love my current role but I’m wondering what my future career options could be. I like the idea of going brand side, or going freelance (if I have the connections). I don’t think I’d want to line produce at a prod. company, or work at another ad agency. Are there any other types of roles that I can consider, but I’m just not aware of yet due to lack of experience? Would love to hear any personal stories too.

When you leave a position for another agency, do you tell your manager where you are going? I will potentially be resigning for the first time for a promo elsewhere, so unsure of procedure.

Also, if I call my manager (CD) to let him know, I don’t also need to call my boss’s boss (ECD / VP type), correct? I would think I just include him in the resignation email along with my CD and Exec producer (I’m production side).

Anyone work as a producer at Google and can share what it’s like? Currently on the agency side but thinking about making the jump to client, although have no idea what to expect. Believe the role is for interactive producer

How hard is it to get an entry level role as an Integrated Producer in a bigger ciry? I'm a copywriter currently working as a Digital Editor for a magazine with about 5 years of experience (some in the US, some abroad) and writing has burnt me out. I'm considering applying to places in Chicago for producer positions. What exactly are agencies looking for in applicants?

I pitched a project at work and my company loved it. They want to turn it into a full fleged series. I created pitch docs, episode treatments, etc that they are using to gauge interest from production companies & streamers. They have not guaranteed what my role would be on the series or if I will be on set. What would be a reasonable ask? Could I get a "creator" credit or would that go to the company? I want to be the lead producer on the project. Not sure how pay works if a streamer buys it.

Hello! Could you help w a salary range for a Sr Producer - in house role within a tech company? Currently remote but once everyone’s back at work the posting would be either NY / SFO.

Has anyone gone from production to copywriting/creative? I’m a “creative producer” at my agency with a background in TV production and writing. However, whenever we’re busy, the creative portion of my job entirely falls off and I’m realizing that’s the part I’m more interested in. Has anyone pivoted to a creative role from prod? If so, how?

i’m an agency producer for around 2 years and I prefer to be a production house producer. any advice on how to position myself and where to look for said jobs? I have multiple years of on-set production experience prior to my current agency (PA/shooting/directing/sourcing/casting) but my agency producer work is less on these types of production. I’m am in LA.

Question about negotiating when hired-- During negotiations would it be weird to ask for an annual review for promotion until I am promoted to senior producer? Usually people ask for vacation or salary but i'm more concerned about making a title jump and not sitting at the same position for three more years.

How do recruiters work? I am an associate producer, and a recruiter from an agency across the country contacted me about a producer (mid level not associate) position they have open. They said my info was passed onto them, but I’m not sure about that. They contacted me on LinkedIn. I’m meeting with their talent person in January to discuss the position, but i’m curious if this is typical? Does this mean they’re actually interested in me for the position?

I have an opportunity to join a small Animation studio as a producer that does some amazing work. I am currently at a large notable agency as a PM. The work isn't revolutionary but this is the best work life balance I have ever had.
Do I leave and take a risk to do something more exciting and rewarding, or do I stay in my current position and risk feeling stagnant and like I'm wasting my growth potential?

Need to hire a web producer for our website which is AEM platform. The role is for someone with at least 5 years experience. How critical is it that the person knows AEM vs other CMSs? Would a web producer have an easy time learning AEM if we provide training?

@ a freelance gig. They brought me on as a Sr. Producer and I took it because right now is an interesting time to be an EP. I’m having to check-in with an EP that is constantly nit picking my work and hasn’t really been helpful - tells me one thing and then I find out that’s not correct and I have to course correct. I’m really struggling with the lack of autonomy as well as this process. Am I pain in the ass? How do I deal with this? I probably shouldn’t have signed up for a SrP role. 🤦🏻‍♀️
