This is an old post now, but I’ll bite.
As claims adjusters state laws dictate what must be done by licensed adjusters and what can be done by proxies. There are 50 states and each of them have their own laws, regs and statutes.
Will some of our tasks be taken away by AI soon? Probably. But licensed adjusters will still be required to work in the industry for a while yet. It’s down to the states to change their requirements and that’s going to take a while if it happens at all.
On a scale of 1-10 my concern is about a 5.
