Any tips on how to start and prepare my MBA Application? I don’t plan on applying till 2022 as I want to attend in 2023. What are things I can do to prepare now in order to have a strong application? Background: I’m aiming for HSW, M7, and top 15. I’m currently a Staff at EY within Business Consulting. I graduated from a Top 25 Business Undergrad - majoring in Finance and minor in Advertising with a 3.71 GPA. I want to pivot towards PM or Corporate Strategy in Tech, at Toyota, or Nike. TIA!

WLB and culture are highly dependent on teams within each firm, it's difficult to give a blanket assessment of the overall region
But I would say if you're SM you're senior enough to exert your own culture on your team (I have had amazing SMs and directors who would shield their teams from shit coming from partners, and I am grateful to this day, others would just cascade the shit down the chain)
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
Idk about being a WOC but wlb is pretty crap. That would be fine because consulting is not so great globally. However blanket statement - a lotta people I interacted with don’t seem to treat you with basic human respect, rather it’s the level they treat you according to which is bullshit. It was hilarious to see a manager acting like he’s the shit with his team and then bend over for partners.
That really sucks. :( we’ve such a huge focus on respect here. What’s good about working there? Will go as SM. I’m so torn.
