How do you feel about the use of AI in government jobs? There are concerns about job security, ethical issues, and whether AI can really handle the complexity of public service work. Have you seen AI being implemented in your agency, and if so, has it actually helped? Or do you think it's more likely to create problems than solve them?

Is there any idea how long it will take to complete BGV, and will there be any consequences if BGV is not completed before joining date?

I'm currently working as an electrical designer in the MEP industry. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?

So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. I know he was the provider of the household and his wife didn't have a job since she was raising three young ones. Needless to say, I had to take off because I felt terrible, sick to my stomach. How do you deal with firing guilt? Is that a thing? I can't help but feeling like I did something wrong.
