How old are the teachers you work with? Is your team mostly around the same age, or do you have a wide range from younger to older? I’ve always found it interesting how much we can learn from those ahead of us and how intetesting it can be to work with fresh perspectives too. What’s the age mix like at your school?

All the teachers where I work are young. All are thirty or younger except for maybe two.

I would say that so many of the teachers are younger than me. I think I am one of the three oldsters in the building.

It’s mixed. We have teachers from their twenties to sixties. I may be the oldest. 🤣🤣🤣

We had our 78 year old teacher retire last year.

Between 60 and 22…

Yes, we have a four of our EAs who are in their early 20s! One of them was a student in our building a few years ago!

It’s a bit mixed but narrower age range:like 20s and 30s

Do you find that the younger teachers are more relaxed in their behavior management?

Actually the opposite. I feel the older teachers have more patience. At least where i work

Hello 👋
I need to choose between Brillio, Tech Mahindra and Deloitte.

Brillio : 15 fixed
Tech Mahindra : 15.4 fixed + 1.7 variable
Deloitte : 13.7 fixed + 10% variable

Can someone please provide insights on what to go for based on their experience? Considering various scenarios like hike I may receive in future.

Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. I don’t think HR or government is for me anymore and looking to find something new, now 24 feel I have a lot of transferable skills and knowledge but worried about private companies in other professions taking me seriously. Grateful for any advice - thanks in advance!

Ive been a copywriter for ~5 years but finding more interest in UX copywriting. (aka short form copy) I’m trying to get into the tech side of things while keeping some of my creative as well. I also just got my UX certificate through a writing academy so I feel pretty confident about switching.

Does this sound like a realistic transition?
