Transitioning to my first clinical PM role from project Coordinator. Anyone have any advice, best practices, etc?

I’ll finish my Master’s in Engineering Management in 1 year. How do I land a management level role at a tech company without management exp?

Completed final round of interviews. Awaiting decision but recruiter has asked for 2-3 references and at least one from current employer. I can get one from a former client and one from a peer at D. Is that ok? Or should I tell them I can provide current employer reference if they extend the offer?

EM considering exiting into strategy at a nonprofit in a space I care about. Anyone else made or considered making this jump? Don't expect salary match, but don't want to shortchange myself in discussions about role.
Very excited about the additional purpose, meaning, and improved lifestyle the role offers, so not looking for a solely-salary discussion.

On my team, I have the opportunity to change my job role to the one I’ve been working towards for a couple of years - technical PM. Additionally, another internal team has extended the same role to come join them. My current team has known relationships, but the role is a pseudo-PM role in my experience. The other team would introduce new stresses and be a significantly larger stretch role, but a more traditional PM role. What would you do in this scenario?

A recruiter called me for a position, took all my details. I have cleared 2 rounds and then HR round as well.
Later, I shared all the required documents like Salary slips etc.
Now they reach out to me and saying cannot proceed because we want immediate joiner or someone who can join within 30 days.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

Interviewing at a vaccine solution IT company for a Pre-Billing RCM lead position. Most ppl in the company don’t come from a healthcare background & are looking for someone who is. During pre-screening the recruiter said salary would be around 45k, I feel this is low. Got a 4 year degree, 10+ yoe in healthcare, insurance, etc. What I don’t have is experience in analytics. I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
