How to find time to search for roles in industry? At McKinsey we get search but not in tech. I just started a role that I’m not enjoying at all, doesn’t feel like the right fit, wondering if I should just quit and use 2-3 months unemployed to look for a job.

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?
