Started in big 4 Tax 1yr ago but was pulled on a Consulting project 10 months in. After the Consulting project, I can’t see myself going back to Tax. I’ve become interested in healthcare and want to go back eventually for my MHA and work in hospital leadership. I just interviewed for a FA position at a large nfp hospital system but also debating shifting to my firm’s OT healthcare consulting group. CPA and dk what to pick. Need to move b4 busy season. I’m currently in a sales ladder but do mostly development work and want to switch to a role that offers me more support and growth tech wise. I’ve also been interviewing externally and I have heard positive feedback for SWE @ Microsoft just need team matching. Would it be smart to switch or wait to find a SWE/UXE or other tech role at G?

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?

My AST promotion has been initiated in last quarter but project didn’t approve . This time project has approved and sent it to CORP HR. When I asked my manager he told that this time you will get promoted as you are the only one from our team who has been sent to HR for promotion. This will be effective from 1 April .
