I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I know that interviewing with google is a long process but I’m worried the longer I wait the more likely I will be rejected or just never hear back. Anyone else in this situation? How long until you got an offer?

I was just informed that I am going to be extended an offer for AWS Proserve. What is the pay schedule for AWS… I thought she said that payday was once a month… I didn’t know if I heard this correctly.

We have a big project going on and I am the only point person(initiate it, did lot of work, and knows the deets well), seems like my mgr wants to get a headcount. But I want to use this opportunity to get promoted, how can I get this across? Mgr is new(they fired my old mgr), mgr’s mgr is new too(re-org). So not sure if I should/can make a case, or how.

How gender diverse is your recruitment pipeline? Have been observing a year-on-year decline in female candidates as a % of total candidates. Recent few years have been in the low to mid 30s. Interested to see how other firms are going.

Thoughts on the potential of IBP?

Hello! I’ve previously only dated white guys. While in quarantine I’ve gone on dil mil and made an effort with brown guys on apps. Surprised to find that many live at home or visit home often in mid 20s, are not financially independent, cannot cook for themselves etc. Is this typical? Or maybe it’s just the area I live in. Sorry if this came off as offensive, it just seems to be a pattern I noticed
