Sometimes this can happen because of a lack of support, appreciation, or feeling respected. That was definitely the case for me over the last year or so.
I was recently let go after 17 years being with them, and it really made me reflect on things. Ask yourself if you're truly happy and if you still have the same drive and excitement you had when you first started. When that's missing, it can affect you more than you realize.
Depression can also play a role. It did for me, and talking to my doctor helped. I was prescribed medication, and it's made a difference.
Wishing you the best of luck. ❤️
This can happen when an employee feels burnout, which can occur for various reasons. Maybe you are feeling under appreciated, disrespected, or not supported enough in your work, etc. Unless you have a management team that is approachable and empathetic and which you are able to have an open conversation with, the only other option would be for you to begin to look for something else. I think you need to ask yourself, do you enjoy what you do, do you enjoy where you work, and such questions. If the answers are no, then ask yourself why and go from there.
Honestly the only thing that's worked for me because I have some very bad issues is Adderall. If you don't abuse it it becomes a wonderful tool to help inIn your day-to-day life especially work

Sounds like your issue is one of motivation rather than focus. It's hard to stay in task when you're not really engaged with what you're doing.
How is what you do connected to the bigger picture of what the company or team needs to achieve?
Are you feeling challenged in the right way?
Do you feel you have the space to shape your work in the way that makes the most sense to you?
If one or more of those is a nope, I'd start with that to se how you can change that.
I hope things improve for you!
Our bodies shunt blood from the brain and extremities to the digestive system after meals resulting in brain fog and, lowered temperature of the extremities, and the urge to sleep to conserve energy. Particularly large or difficult to process meals increase this response. Depending on the person and meal, onset can begin as early as 20 minutes and last for anywhere from 2 to four hours. If you are eating before bouts of deep focus, this is likely a contributing factor. You are essentially incapacitated until the bulk of physical digestion is complete.
The Eisenhower Matrix helps to prioritise tasks by urgency and importance. If you find that you become distracted, consider using this tool to acknowledge and schedule the distraction so that your focus remains undivided. Unless it’s one of your functional responsibilities and has an immediate impact on operations, it can be scheduled.
Adequate sleep is one of the most significant indicators of performance. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, your brain function/ attention suffers.
Breath work and meditation are powerful tools for harnessing attention.
Regular breaks helps for me. About 10 mins every hour I’ll do a sudoku or go on my phone, or go for a walk. Depends how strict your workplace is, but I find this helps me loads.
Thats me 100% accurate
