I am riding this until the wheels fall off. I am nowhere near retirement so I won’t take the buyout. I keep telling myself four years isn’t long and we will get through this but I am not opposed to jumping ship to the private sector. I will be updating my resume today.

You and how many other thousands of federal workers are updating their resume today. I'm glad you're sticking with it though. The people of America need their government workers. I didn't vote for Trump. I could see the writing on the wall.

Trump has no authority to make that severance payment offer. Do not take it.

I agree with this. You leave. Ain't getting that money that he promised. Ain't no way.

I mean: job security ain't what it used tah, out there in the private sector. I'm worried. I'm new to government work, myself. But I'm arriving at the conclusion that I'm just as safe applying and hedging, but staying put until I know better. Four years isn't that long.

I'm just done believing in this country. I have twenty years to retire and I 100% don't even believe that there will be anything in place regardless of various paths to take.

Folks, try to view this circus from a higher perspective. Engaging in the fear and fanfare won't keep you steady for your own personal lives. Ask for help from your union reps and/or lawyers before making a dive. Please note, people who have emigrated from communist countries are 100% aware of these tactics (smoke and mirrors, changing laws on a daily basis, intimidation, etc). In essence, BE STRONG and keep your mind clear through this.

And when it comes time to vote. Research, research, research. Don't listen to hype. Which is what Donald Trump did. Do your research. And vote. Everybody needs to research and vote. People sitting back on their laurels like oh I don't love this candidate and I don't like that candidate so I ain't going to vote. If you do that, you are automatically voting for Republican due to the electoral College. Democrats need 5% more votes than Republicans in order to win a presidential election. Republicans have been working on this for 40 years.

Hello fishes,
Does anybody know how much it takes to receive Revised Offer letter from Mindtree ?
I had a discussion with the recruiter on 6th May and he agreed to send the revised offer letter, but I am still awaiting it. The recruiter is not receiving my calls, not replying to my sms and emails as well.
Not sure what to do in this scenario.
