Low key sad situation but I’m pretty extroverted and have been at my parents place since March and have no friends here, and I literally get in a better mood after doing expert interviews because I’m having a deep 1:1 conversation with someone 😐
First interview since 2014. 1st interview since having my kids, 20mo and 2mo. Bombed the technical portion. Feeling kind of stupid and out of practice and sad...cont.
After 3 months of applying I some how got an interview with a well known growing tech start up! Interviewed and got an offer this week. Unfortunately the offer is lower than my current comp with 1 yoe but it gets me out of tech consulting/compliance and into a pretty interesting product facing role! A bit sad about a lower comp but also pretty pumped about pivoting career paths so early and getting to work in product! Hope this “success” helps motivate some of y’all who might feel down!
Any senior art director looking for a partner at your agency? Or applying together as a team? I’m at a good agency right now, just want a change
Got the call I’ve been waiting for today after many rounds of interviewing at my dream company, client side. Feeling anxious + sad now thinking about leaving my current job where I’m excelling (cont.)
Feeling sad as I thought the interview went very well as the interviewers said I did a good job in cases etc and everyone gave me their contact info without me asking but then rejection:(
Jesus... I haven’t even interviewed yet, and I’m already kind of sad at the thought of leaving 😐... feel like I don’t know what I’ll be walking into, if I’m extended an offer and accept.
Feeling sad :( I think I just messed up the case interviews that I had. These interviews are like a punch to the face sometimes
I’m pretty sure I just got ghosted from an agency I really want to work at after 2 rounds of interviews. I’m now sad 😞

Leaving my firm in 1 month due to work visa issue. I have a few interviews with Big 4 Advisory (not strategy) in other countries lining up but I’m still incredibly sad 😥
Nothing sucks more than going on an interview(s), thinking you did well, and then not hearing from the company for weeks. Having to write off a company you really liked is so sad
If you say something bad about someone applying for a job, that’s wrong. Unless they were blatantly insane or harmful. Let people try to find happiness. Happened to my friend and it’s sad.
Just went through the 6th interview for a single company - 4 by phone, 2 in person. I feel like I'm either joining the CIA or being pranked by on a really sad reality show. 🙄
I just went through a the 13th interview for a single company - 4 by phone, 9 in person. I feel like I'm either joining the CIA or being pranked by on a really sad reality show.
Pretty sure co-worker is having his exit interview right now. Was talking about getting fired last week but first meeting with mgr signaled no firing. He looked super sad going in... 😕
I managed to get onsite interviews with apple/Goldman Sachs/amazon when I was a senior in college. Now three years later, I got rejected without interviews for most of tech roles. Sad life 😭
When the senior associate on your project tells you to fill in for him hosting final round interviews in the office and that you won't be able to do any client work tomorrow... so sad 😎
Can't decide if it's best to move to a less stressful job or not. Some days I love it, and am up for early promotion, other days I'm inconsolably sad and can't think of anything but applying elsewhere
Anyone with AWS TPM (Technical Program Manager) experience that can talk about interview questions?
Anyone have helpful pointers on “lateral” interviews? I was invited to interview with a large firm. I say “lateral” because my current firm (second year associate) has less than 15 attorneys, and this firm has over 500. I’m worried that despite my relevant work experience, my answers won’t be as relatable given my firm background. Are there any standard lateral-type questions that I should prepare for?
Would you accept a final offer from a firm if you enjoyed the interview process but HR/Talent was unorganized and difficult to work with? Is it a bad sign or very common?
Just had a weird and awkward interview for a role I want. Is it weird to acknowledge that it was weird and awkward in my follow up?
Having an informational interview that I’m hoping will lead to an exit opportunity. I’m compiling a list of questions to ask and was wondering if anyone had recommendations or go-to questions?
Had a great meeting with a director about an open role, everything seemed well, two days later ask about interviews, sorry the role has been filled.

I'm so scared about applying to business school. Tips for managing applications, GMAT, job and sleep? I've procrastinated for so long and it's really time to get my shit together.
Going for an interview next week, HR told me 3 times to be ready to talk about my work. I have a book, and I’ll walk them through my fav projects, but do I need a deck? Are they hinting at something?
Can employers tell if you are in a call by yourself? I use Team’s Meet Now feature to show my status is “in a call” while in interviews (also to avoid taking PTO).
I got an interview for a business analyst position at a soccer foundation for children and my dad told me to look into it because you never know if it will close a year into me working there
Any exit to, or know anyone/interviewed with Spotify? Being poached for a people/hr analyst role in NYC, Glassdoor is insanely positive...looks like 120+ for an analyst role
How do you guys not let a toxic work environment make you negative? I got feedback that I “complained throughout” an interview but I didn’t even notice. I was just saying I’m ready for a better place
Headed into a second interview with a recruiter for a Managing Director position at Delta. Can any fish out there speak to the culture there?
How would y’all approach applying to an agency’s “General Application” posting (ie. the role isn’t named, you’re just submitting your resume)? Any successes? Strategies? Should I cold email the recruiter/HR person in addition?
JetBlue! I love you too much! Not only your wifi is free but it also works 😊 if you get yourself into star alliance I'll marry you!
What’s the best way to slip out for an interview? I unfortunately don’t have PTO to run on right now.

Advice needed: my boyfriend has been interviewing for a marketing position for the past 1.5 months. He made it to the last round and had to create an email blast with certain requirements. One being that the image needed to be 3000px. The team got back to him today saying he did not make the cut bc he did not meet the requirements. When he asked for feedback they said it was bc he submitted the pic as 933px. Thankfully, the raw design file he sent showed that he did in fact do 3000px. What..cont
Got a offer for 98K. I’m in Texas but will need to relocate to ATL or Chicago. I’m partial to Atl just because it’s in the south but curious to try the Midwest. Pro v cons ?
For those with CSR or Amex Plat - since we use the corporate (green Amex mostly) for all biz travel, how are you able to earn enough points with your personal cards to offset the $450/$550 annual fee
Decided to look for an in house position, sr dir or vp in tech, I'm amazed that at 50 I'm seeing constant age bias, impossible to even get a call back for jobs I'm clearly qualified for.
Just saw that I got a $39 AMEX late fee for my balance (of $20) not being paid off within 45+ days. I didn’t think AMEX gave us late fees? Anyone else dealt with this?
