Yeah it’s unfortunately a vicious cycle. Being unwell is contagious. No one wants to be around a miserable person but that person is in so much need of support to flourish.
Do you think being positive about solving it and showing motivation to get out of it could help your support network? It gets so hopeless sometime and hard. Then the negative talk becomes a pattern engrained in us
I feel like I could have written this. All the people who said they'd help with resumes or even just meeting up for coffee? They're all gone now.
Even my therapist is kind of shaming me about burnout. I'm a domestic violence survivor going through trauma therapy while unemployed and dealing with physical health challenges - and every single person doesn't care.
In the end only those who've walked through hell get it. I wish there were more meetups to support us. I'm completely isolated without friends and planning a move. I have nothing and noone here.
