I have a friend with a small clinic that has been experiencing a pretty bad cash crunch. Without limited review it seems like a billing problem as they have a ton of A/R over 90 days and their historical collections are under 80%. I'm not a HC consultant myself, just trying to help a friend avoid bankruptcy. I know I need to dig deeper and there are plenty of possible process issues but I was wondering what you typically find as your biggest ROIs in fixing A/R & collection issues.

Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

Have you talked about your wedding with coworkers? I made the mistake of saying I had to leave work a little early one day because I was going to do a tasting at my venue. That starts a debate on why one shouldn’t get married, how much wedding costs & what a waste it is, dresses are stupid because you only wear them once, etc. I haven’t talked about my wedding much, but I didn’t appreciate this. I ignored the negative comments and we moved the conversation along. Not talking about that anymore!
